Finance Internship
Lamb Insurance Services
I am currently a finance intern at Lamb Insurance Services in New York City. In this role, I utilize advanced Excel skills to input and analyze large sets of financial data with a focus on informed decision-making. In addition, I leveraged my knowledge of accounting and finance to work effectively on large projects using internal systems. My experience as a finance intern has reinforced my desire to work in the field, as I find fulfillment in the challenge and stakes of the work.
Hemlock Hardware
I worked at Hemlock Hardware in Fairfield, Connecticut, for four summers as an associate. The role provided a thorough foundation for working in the professional world. In particular, I provided one-on-one assistance to customers, learning the art of communicating effectively as well as diffusing tension. These skills have been integral to my continued development as a professional.
